Fōkasu #44: Com Truise

Originally Tom Cruise was supposed to appear in that episode, but something went wrong.

His stage name is a spoonerism of the name of American actor Tom Cruise. His sound is based on very synthesizer-heavy synthwave. You can hear that he is influenced by 1980's musical styles.

Which shouldn't be surprising since most synthwave artists are inspired by the 1980s. I came across it through one of the episodes of the TV series "Happy!". This wacky tale of an alcoholic detective who talks to a flying animated unicorn offers a no-holds-barred ride from the first episode. I can't remember how many episodes you can hear Coma in, but in one a number "...Of Your Fake Dimension" sounded, I knew this was it.
